Unless you are really in a hurry the best time to start planning your wedding is roughly one year. The earlier you start, the better deals & vendors you may get.

First of all dream. Get the vision of your big day and try to put on  paper your dreams.

Secondly set a wedding budget – tell us how much are you willing to spend for your wedding.

Third determine your dates – as you will be booking holidays as well, it’s important to set a date for your wedding and then book your flights and hotels.

Generally, there’s no bad time to get marrted in Greece! Even winter months are great as temperatures are not too low (approximately 10-15 degrees on islands) and we have many sunny days from November till April. Obviously, the summer months are the most popular. From May, when the summer in Greece starts, till October the weather is warm and sunny. Try to avoid July & August if possible, due to high temperatures. June and September are favourite wedding months.

Official wedding ceremonies are in Greek language and we provide a simultaneous translator. Sometimes the celebrant may speak English. The ceremony itself takes approximately 15 minutes but with all the procedures – groom entrance, bride entrance, wishes and toasts it may take 1-1,5 hrs.

For legal ceremonies you will need 2 witnesses. If you plan a small elopement without guests or some of your witnesses didn’t make it, we will provide you with our witness for free!

Yes, you can, if both of you are Christians (Catholic weddings are available on Kefalonia, Zante and Corfu only). Since most of the churches in Greece are Greek Orthodox, you may have your ceremony there only if one of you is a member of this church ( the second should belong to another Christian community and have proof.

Of course we can! We cooperate with official translators in Greece, which will legally translate your documents into Greek language ( which is required for legal weddings) and vice-versa. Most European languages are easy to be translated, either you may send us documents translated into English (language) and our translator will make the Greek translation.
